CV Tips
We receive a lot of CVs at Senokian from people seeking employment; the following tips can help you save time and get your CV noticed.
- Keep the CVs short - there are so many new courses these days, we don't know what they all mean!
- Say what you like doing and what your strengths are - you can't be a good 'team worker' and 'great at working on your own'!
- Letters sent with CVs should never say "I would like to work with your company" - unless you can say why and mean it!
- Get someone to check spelling and grammar. A badly constructed letter helps no one.
- If you are genuine about wanting a career at Senokian Solutions tell us why, what you have done, and look at the sort of work we do. If you are a programmer, great, if you are a programmer/geek, even better, if you have done an evening course in web design, then Senokian Solutions probably isn't for you and you will have lost a stamp you could better use else where
- We work with Open Source Software, so if you email us a CV postscript or PDF are best, Open Office or Word will do
