Our Mission

At Senokian we build applications to help organisations manage and maintain their data and projects. Enterprise Groupware System (EGS) is released under the GPL and is used by people all over the World - at present there are over 35,000 downloads. Tactile CRM is based upon EGS and offered as a hosted product to smaller organisations that don't want to install and maintain EGS on-site.

Getting to the office

Some people drive to work, others get the bus and some people car share to help the environment - there isn't an underground/tube system. At the moment nobody has a motorbike so you could be the first!

The office

We have two offices in the Innovation Centre in Binley at present but are looking to move into a larger one downstairs. We are currently discussing ideas. Ever wanted to work in the perfect office? Well come work with us and help design the new office as well as great software!

We have nice views out of the office to the rest of the buildings on the business park, and we have an office dog called Archie (who might eat your lunch if you leave it on the edge of your desk) who is in charge of security and morale at Senokian.

Food

We have a sandwich lady that comes in a van at 9.30ish and midday and another man who brings hot food at 12.30ish if you don't want to leave the building (and a vending machine that sells snacks too).

There is a great greasy spoon round the corner for bacon sandwiches who also deliver baked potatoes if we ring them, and a Morissons and Tesco within walking distance if you want to make something yourself. There is a slightly dodgy fish and chip shop and McDonalds too if you like fast food.

The Team

At Senokian you are part of Binley's hottest tech team. They are brilliant and their stuff goes live (often at short notice).

Did I mention we also have an office dog?

Toilet

There are two bathrooms on each floor and the one down stairs has a shower if you want to cycle to work, go for a run or just want a shower for some reason.

Master

At Senokian, most revenue comes from the people who love our products, so Senokian can focus on serving people and bettering our products for them.

Snacks

There is a vending machine at the end of the corridor and free tea, coffee and soft drinks when Jake remembers to go to the wholesale place.

Dude with Big Hair

Not only do we have a dude with big hair, he also has a hat and looks like Van Helsing. He doesn't hang out in a room full of balls, rather a room full of servers.

Outside Interaction and Input

At Senokian you talk to people who use the software you build and design and might have to help them with a support query once in a while.

Cog Factor

At Senokian you are a member of a 11 person (and one dog) team. We will listen to what you say and you will have an impact. We also have a young average age!

Haircuts

Some people don't cut their hair, most do and there are several barbers and hair dressers in Coventry, Leamington Spa and Warwick.

Dress Code

At Senokian we don't really have one. People wear shorts when it is hot, and sometimes when it isn't. As long as you are comfortable we don't mind what you wear.

We have Senokian polo shirts and sometimes you might have to wear them or look a bit smart if you have to go on a site visit at a clients.
